Assignment #7: DIY Creative: Part 1:

• My DIY assignment will be an installation of a recreated recognizable painting in the main hallway of school. I have decided to choose a painting done by Leonardo da Vinci, 'Lady with an Ermine'. When installed into the hallway I will position the photograph in a large frame- which is also a replica of the frame the original painting is in. The photo will be to scale with the painting as well as the frame. I wanted to challenge myself with this assignment by choosing a portrait- a style of photography I am not comfortable with. Also, the lighting of the painting will challenge me to perfectly recreate the shadows and shading of the model's body.
